GameTymers Basketball Organization was founded in 2003 and established as a non profit organization in 2009. Our goal is to offer a program where youth boys and girls ages 9-15 residing in the San Fernando Valley can learn about basketball as well as important life enriching skills including dedication, respect, discipline, leadership, and teamwork.
Each of our GameTymers Basketball teams compete at all levels of play including: local tournaments, regional tournaments, and national competition. Players are exposed to all levels of competition commensurate with their ability and individual skill level.
Mission Statement
The mission of GameTymers Basketball is to enable youth boys and girls to participate in the game of basketball in a safe and character-building environment. GameTymers Basketball promotes the teaching of basketball fundamentals and high-caliber basketball play through team practices, leagues, tournament games, camps, clinics, as well as one-on-one instructional sessions.
Long Term Goals
GameTymers Basketball believes in community involvement and in developing strong basketball teams where player bonding, self-discipline, and high academic performance in school are required. Our goals not only include helping players acquire strong basketball skills, but we also place importance on building character on and off the court.
Ready 2 Hoop Basketball Academy
The Ready 2 Hoop Basketball Academy (R2H) is an intermediate program for youth ages 7-15 years old. Our main goal is to strengthen a player’s individual skill through our weekly clinics. It’s a place where boys and girls are taught solid fundamentals and advanced techniques that will allow them to excel physically and mentally at any level. R2H also offers conditioning sessions and competitive travel teams that participate in local leagues and tournaments.

The most succesful coach in Sierra Canyon of Chatsworth boys' basketball history has resigned. Colin Jamerson led the Trailblazers to a 41-19 record in two years at the helm, a Div. V-A championship game appearance and a Delphic League championship. [READ MORE]

Earl Watson Basketball Clinics
GameTymers is once again partnering up with Earl Watson, former UCLA and NBA player to provide instructional clinics that are results-oriented and specifically designed to teach the individual the fundamentals of basketball.
Clinics emphasize the importance of form and technique by focusing on specialized drills such as ball handling, shooting, passing, and defense. While polishing your game, the clinics will help individuals learn to play against top-quality competition.
[North Hollywood, CA] - The GameTymers 10u team didn't play well during the regular season, finishing with a 2-4 record. The team stepped up their play during the play-offs defeating the #1 and #2 seeds to win the ARC Winter League Championship on March 14th, 2010.
